At the Second Cycle we appreciate the cost of buying a new bike can be a struggle. That’s why we like to offer the option of trading in your current bike for one we have in stock. We compare our valuations against the current second hand market. Your valuation will be valid for 28 days.
Sell Your Bike to Us
Looking to sell your unwanted bike? We’ll take it off your hands. We offer a free collection service within a 50-mile radius, or you can drop the bike off to us if you prefer.
If you’re located between 50 and 80 miles from us, we charge 40p per mile for the extra distance. However, the maximum charge is just £12, and we’ll deduct this from the valuation of the bike.
If you’re over 80 miles away, we unfortunately can’t offer collection at the moment. However, you’re welcome to bring the bike to us, or get in touch and we’ll see if we can work out a solution.
For payment, we only use bank transfers – we don’t handle cash.

We want to make the transaction run as smooth as possible therefore if the quote is accepted we will collect the bike from you, location dependent. Please note on some occasions we may request a video or to view the bike in person prior to purchasing.
