PURCHASING

All bikes are second hand so may have some ware and tear to them. Please refer to the photos and description for clarity before purchasing.

We highly recommend viewings and test rides.

Payment in full must be made prior to collection or organising shipment of the bike.

Our bikes are listed on various websites so we reserve the right to end the listing at any time.

We offer a deposit service where we can hold your bike for 28 days for a 10 percent deposit. This deposit is non refundable unless you come to view the bike in person and you decide it’s not for you.

Failing to make payment of the bike with in the 28 days will result in the bike being put back on for sale.
SELLING YOUR BIKE

Introduction:

By agreeing to sell your bike to us, you acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions.

Collection:
-
We offer a free collection service within a 50-mile radius. If you are located between 50 and 80 miles from us, we charge 40p per mile for the extra distance. The maximum charge is £12, and we will deduct this from the valuation of the bike. If you are over 80 miles away, we cannot offer collection at this time, but you may still sell your bike to us by arranging to deliver it to us or by contacting us to discuss alternative arrangements.

Payment:

We only make payment by bank transfer, and we do not handle cash. Payment will be made to you once we have received and inspected the bike.

Once an offer has been accepted the customer has the right to cancel at anytime until the transfer of payment has been made.

Bike Valuation:

An accurate description and photos will need to be provided by the customer before a valuation can be given.

Once an offer has been given the customer has up to 28 days to accept. Outside of time frames will need an update to date quote.

Once an offer has been accepted the customer has the right to cancel at anytime until the transfer of payment has been made.

We will provide you with a valuation of your bike based on our assessment of its condition and market value. The final valuation is subject to change if we discover any undisclosed faults or issues during inspection.

If any details are in correct this may change the valuation.

Bike Ownership:

You confirm that you are the legal owner of the bike and have the right to sell it. If we discover that the bike is stolen, we reserve the right to report the matter to the relevant authorities.

All bikes will need to be checked on the data base for any reports of lost or stolen. Serial numbers will need to be provided.

Liability:

We will take reasonable care of your bike while it is in our possession, but we cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the bike caused by events outside our control. We also cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to accessories or personal items left with the bike.

Data Protection:

We will process your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. By agreeing to sell your bike to us, you consent to our use of your personal information for the purpose of processing the sale.

Governing Law:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the UK law, and any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English court system.

PART EXCHANGE

All terms and conditions listed in ‘selling your bike’ apply for part exchange

If a part exchange is taking place with a courier then the customer is liable for the courier costs of their part exchange.

The remaining balance of the bike will need to be paid in full prior to collection or organising of courier.

We reserve the right to decline a part exchange if the bike is completely different to the one listed in the form.

We do not do straight swaps unfortunately.
COURIER
-
We will use our dedicated chosen courier for deliveries. If you wanted to organise a courier of your choice please let us know the details so we can arrange a time for collection.

Our Bikes will be wrapped the same way every time. Pads and bubble wrap fully covered. The bike will be fully assembled or at very least will be required to adjust the handlebars.

Failing to not be in for the courier when a time has been agreed may result in the customer having to re pay the courier cost.

The bike is covered against loss or damage. We will need to be notified in writing of any issues upon delivery within 72 hours of receiving the bike.

In the unfortunate case of damage to the bike in transit please contact us immediately and we will work with yourself to find a solution asap. Repair costs will be covered or a return should that be the case.

If a return is needed we will work with the customer to provide safe return of the bike.
RETURNS

We highly recommend viewings and test rides. There we cannot offer a return for wrong sizing. Please make sure you research your sizing prior to purchasing or get in contact with us for advice. We will happily work with you to see if the bike is a good fit.

We do not accept returns of damaged bikes due to the unfortunate event of a customer coming off or bad handling.

We will accept returns on any items if you feel the bike isn’t as described or has been damaged in transit.

We will require the item to be returned to us before any refund is given.
